BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of State John Kerry has met South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-Se in Washington.
Yun Byung-Se is on a three-day visit for consultations on the DPRK, as well as other pending issues. The visit comes ahead of a planned visit by President Park Geun-hye next month. Kerry is to visit Seoul next month. Kerry and Yun vowed to maintain a strong alliance and to cooperate to deter threats from the DPRK. They also noted the importance of the Six-Party Talks and urged the North to return to the negotiating table.
