This paper outlined in detail the domestic and foreign technological development on the metallurgy of vanadium extracting, and elaborated the feasibility and significance of withdrawing the vanadium from the steel slag containing high vanadium which is produced by the molten iron contained the vanadium in Panzhihua Iron & Steel Co.
