形态特征子实体小或中等。菌盖直径5-10cm，圆形或肾形，壳状，不发光，污赭色、褐色或暗色，无环纹或有不明显的环纹，边缘同色，表面有皱纹或小疣，缢缩状，紫黑色。菌肉厚1-2cm，木色，软木质，易破碎，土铜色或污褐色，干时常网状开裂。孔口同色，直径0.15-0.3mm，圆形或近有棱角。菌丝粗1-6μm，壁厚。菌柄侧生，长5-8cm，粗2-3cm，壳状或涂漆状，紫黑色。孢子褐色，倒卵形，基部平截或圆锥状，无色，有小刺，9-12μm×6.5-8μm。

分布地区内蒙古河北
经济用途属木腐菌，可能药用。此种是Pilát1940年发表的新种。作者于1986年在内蒙古呼伦贝尔额右旗考察时又发现一株新鲜的标本，其形态特征同原文记述，但盖面环纹较明显和较光亮。
