The validity of Kramers–Kronig transform for typical mathematical model of electrochemical impedance was studied, a new algorithms (Newton–Cotes) were developed to apply the Kramers–Kronig transform, and application of the transform in the analysis of experimental impedance data for Q235 steel in saltwater saturated CO2 without and with 25ppm imidazoline inhibitor was illustrated.
