风俗(c ustom)特定社会文化区域内历代人们共同遵守的行为模式或行为规范。风格的多样性，是以人们所处的自然环境、社会环境的差异性为基础的。习惯上，人们往往将由自然条件的不同而造成的行为规范差异，称之为“风”:而将由社会文化的差异所造成的行为规则之不同，称之为“俗”。所谓“百里不同风，千里不同俗”正恰当地反映了风俗因地而异的特点。风俗是一种社会传统，某些当时流行的时尚、习俗，久而久之固定下来，也就成为了风俗。与此同时，由于历史的变迁，原有风俗中的不适宜部分，也会随着历史条件的变化而改变，所谓“移风易俗”正是这一含义。风俗由于是一种历史形成的，它对社会成员有一种非常强烈的行为制约作用。风俗是社会道德与法律的基础和相辅部分。 (林乘肾撰沈德灿审)
