戴德 生卒年不详。字延君。西汉时梁(郡治今河南商丘)人，又据《成安县志》为魏郡斥丘（今河北成安东南）人。汉代礼学家，今文礼学“大戴学 ”的开创者。任信都王（刘嚣）太傅。宣帝时立为博士，称“大戴”，也叫“太傅《礼》”。曾选集古代各种有关礼仪等的论述编成《大戴礼记》八十五篇，今残。戴德和《小戴礼记》的编纂者戴圣（戴德之侄）都是西汉经学家后苍的弟子。
