Taking into account the superiority of B/S network architecture,this paper designed a system to choose B/S network architecture will be the development and application software,databases on the server side,but without day-to-day maintenance of the client and update,thus greatly improve the overall system maintainability,scalability and security.

This paper points out that the B/S system structure mode fits in with the online sale management of commercial residential building, expounds the new marketing mode of real estate based on GIS, and advances some suggestions on perfecting the sale management of commercial residential building.

Based on analysis of the requirements including bridge maintenance data managing,safety state evaluating,auxiliary decision making,and information sharing,the Web-GIS and B/S network technologies were used to design the Bridge Maintenance Management System(BMMS).
