劳动需求
劳动需求生产对劳动要素的需求量。劳动作为生产要素之一，在生产中发挥重要作用，因而生产存在着对劳动的需求。劳动需求是一种派生需求，因为厂商之所以需要劳动要素，是因为社会需要厂商提供一定量的产品。厂商是由于社会对产品的需求而组织生产，从而产生对劳动要素的需求的。因此，劳动需求首先与产品需求密切相关。其次，劳动需求还决定于生产中的资源配置状况产品生产不仅需要投入劳动要素，还需投入其他生产要素，如资本、原材料、技术、土地、厂房以及管理才能等资源配置即使在技术不变的情况下，也是有一定弹性的。因为要素之间存在着一定的替代性。厂商采用什么样的资源配置方式组织生产，取决于各种生产要素的供给状况。劳动需求还与劳动供给和其他生产要素的供给有关。由于社会对产品的需求反映在商品价格上，要素的供给也反映在要素价格上，故劳动需求和产品价格与要素价格成函数关系。
