gend-根底(t oe rock)爆破后残留在露天台阶底部，超过下部台阶水平的岩体部分。露天台阶爆破时，有无根底产生是衡量爆破质量优劣的一个重要指标，有根底的爆堆，使挖掘机生产能力下降、增加设备故障和机件磨损、降低设备利用率，同时打乱采场的正常作业循环。为防止产生根底，应适应岩石结构，采用合理的孔网参数、正确的起爆顺序、足够的药量和防止拒爆等。在难爆矿岩或抵抗线过大爆破时，还应采取增加孔底药量或用高威力炸药等综合措施。消除已产生的根底，通常采用浅眼爆破法。 (曾世奇)
