Based on the borrowing and developing of the Western music,Xin Hu-guang\'s horse-head musical instrument production use Mongolian music language and the relevant composing techniques,and carry out the thematic composing with various techniques and forms to construct the different music pieces.
辛沪光的马头琴作品是在借鉴、发展西方音乐创作基础上,运用蒙古民族的音乐语言、语汇及相关作曲技法,在各种类型音乐作品的主题形态构建方面进行了技法多变、形式多样的主题写作。

| 马头琴 中国擦奏弦鸣乐器。流行于内蒙古、辽宁、吉林、黑龙江、甘肃、新疆等地的蒙古族中。又称莫林胡尔、胡琴、马尾胡琴、弓弦胡琴等。琴头上雕有马头装饰。从唐、宋时期的胡琴发展而成，成吉思汗时已流传民间。用硬木制作，音箱有倒梯形、长方形等多种。大者琴长120 厘米，小者琴长70厘米。音箱两面蒙绘有图案的马皮或羊皮。张两根马尾弦。弓在弦外。传统定弦有3种：①正四度A、d。②反四度a、e。③西部地区五度定弦d、a。演奏时席地而坐，音箱左下角挟于两膝间，右手持马尾弓拉奏。可奏双音。音量较小。用于独奏、与四胡等乐器的合奏及民歌、说书的伴奏 。为民歌伴奏时，多用三度、四度颤音模仿歌唱。常模拟马的嘶鸣。 |
