Syntactic priming(SP)in sentence production refers to the tendency of speakers and writers to reuse syntactic structures that they have recently processed.

From the perspective of structural transfer,the paper studies the process of Chinese sentence production by foreign students and confirms the corresponding relation between the two languages is an important factor in their sentence production.

At present there has been no sentence generation algorithm based on context-dependent rule coverage.

A workable Chinese grammar learning system should not only reveal the rule of Chinese grammar but also have its generative quality that shows to the learners the restricting factors,process and result of the sentence generation.

Starting with a probe into the generative sentence perspective and functional sentence perspec-tive, this paper proceeds to exhibit the possibility of better comprehending sentence meanings at the deepstructure in the course of translation from English into Chinese.
