磨擦擦面，是宁武乡间常吃的一种风味食品，近年成为酒馆饭店的热门小吃。
磨擦擦面的制作方法是：取洗净的山药数颗去皮，用磨擦擦成末，用清水淘了，去掉浑水，拌进适量莜面和少许山药淀粉。如用抿床下锅稍软一些，若要擀成圪瘩稍微硬点，根据吃法而定。无论吃抿面还是吃圪瘩，都要熬制臊子，臊子可荤可素，因人而宜。这样，吃起来口感好，味道美，吃了还想吃，谁吃谁说好。
