本文将文字学和考古学相结合 ,论述了古时居室门窗的发展情况及特点 ,认为从古文字门窗的形体可以分别看出 :⑴门的演进状况 ,即从未固定的草木门到固定的木制单扇门 (或双扇门 ) ;⑵窗的发展脉络 ,即从天窗到壁窗 ,由极简单的木条交互而成的窗到较复杂的内壁窗和外壁北窗。
