性质:经过渗硼处理的钢。渗硼主要是为了提高钢的硬度、耐磨性和耐蚀性。渗硼钢在滑动摩擦、磨料磨损和流体磨料磨损、微动腐蚀磨损条件下,以及在低温和高温的真空中和各种腐蚀介质中,均具有很高的耐磨性。以45钢粉为例,渗硼处理后在干滑动摩擦条件下的耐磨性比渗碳处理的45钢高3~5倍,比氰化钢高2~7倍,比淬火和低温回火钢高3倍。渗硼后,钢在各种稀酸水溶液中的耐蚀性大为提高,在沸水和碱液中的耐蚀性也显著提高。渗硼钢已广泛用于机器零件、工具和模具等方面。
