    又名乙基丁内酯、γ-乙基正丁内酯、4-羟基己酸-γ-内酯、1,4-己内酯。无色液体。分子量114.15。熔点-18℃。沸点220℃。几乎不溶于水。溶于乙醇、丙二醇。具有浓烈的类似药草的香气,类似香豆素和焦糖的甜昧。
    生产方法:主要采用还原法。以山梨园为原料,用锡、锌或氯化亚锡在盐酸存在下,进行还原反应而得。
    用途:内酯类合成香料。主要用作调合香料。
