In the studying field of style,concerning the choice of object and range,there obviously is a kind of partiality that giving priority to the literary style but looking down on the practical style.

The present paper,based on a survey of the research on translation conducted by scholars in the field of translation in China,proposes that it is necessary to emphasize the characteristic of practical style text, practicality ,when we carry out the translation practice of such kind of texts, for the literariness and elegance could be seldom found in the text.
