本文在阐述沙化土地动态变化研究的目的、意义、现状、国内外研究成果和发展趋势的前提下,依据地理学、生态学、恢复生态学、生态经济学等基础理论,采用遥感(RS)、全球定位系统(GPS)和地理信息系统(GIS)监测技术手段,通过对托克逊县1990年、1999年、2005年卫星影像的处理、判读,辅以GPS地面定位调查及其它调查方法获得托克逊县沙化土地基础数据,应用Erdas和ArcGis软件建立托克逊县沙化土地属性数据库和空间数据库,对托克逊县沙化土地总体时空特征及其形成机理进行了分析研究,同时选取试验样区对局部的变化特征进行对比分析。
