补充资料:海湾大桥
位于汕头港东部出入口妈屿岛海域处,为跨海公路桥。桥面跨越礐石海, 全长2500米。由3部分组成:南面是跨黄沙湾南航道的预应力钢筋混凝土加大桥劲梁悬索桥;北面是跨北航道的预应力钢筋混凝土梁式桥;中部为横跨妈屿岛上的预应力高架旱桥。桥主孔通航净跨度452米,通航净高46米,可以通过5万吨级船舶。这座大桥是深汕两地一级汽车专用公路的配套设施,是连结深圳、珠海、汕头、厦门等4个经济特区的陆地交通纽带。
大桥投资3亿元,於1991年12月17日汕头经济特区成立10周年之际奠基,1992年3月28日正式开工,1995年12月28日建成通车。
