| 大提琴 cello 擦奏弦鸣乐器。提琴家族中的低音弓弦乐器，室内乐重奏的重要乐器和富有特性的独奏乐器，是管弦乐队中的主要成员。演奏时，演奏者坐着将琴靠在身上，将琴夹在两膝之间，左手按弦，右手持弓。琴下方由一根尖铁放在地上来支撑琴体。除了颈部稍短，边侧稍深外，大提琴的形状和小提琴几乎一样。大提琴的定弦是C、G、d、a，其音域几乎有4个八度。与小提琴和中提琴一样，大提琴是在16世纪发展起来的。早期的大提琴有5根弦，但后来最低的弦被取消。17世纪，大提琴主要是与竖琴、风琴或琉特琴一起作为伴奏乐器使用。17世纪晚期开始有为大提琴所写的独奏作品。巴洛克时期后期（1750），大提琴得到了人们的认可，尤其是其颇具表现力的声音。以后，作曲家开始为其写作。18世纪的大提琴作品有J.S.巴赫的6首无伴奏大提琴组曲；A.维瓦尔迪、J.海顿等人的大提琴协奏曲。19和20世纪，A.德沃夏克、D.D.肖斯塔科维奇等人也创作了大提琴与乐队的协奏曲。在乐队中，大提琴常与低音提琴配合，担任弦乐的低音声部。大提琴声音丰厚优美，音色迷人，用于演奏忧郁伤感旋律时具有感人的效果。
