  [一、信分],谓第一会菩提场中,说世主妙严品至毗卢遮那品,名举果劝乐生信分,盖举扬如来依正二报难思之果,劝励当机闻而乐欲生其净信,故名信分。(梵语菩提,华言道。梵语毗卢遮那,华言遍一切处。依正二报者,身为正报,国土是依报也。)
  [二、解分],谓第二会普光明殿,说十信法;第三会忉利天宫,说十住法;第四会夜摩天宫,说十行法;第五会兜率陀天宫,说十回向法;第六会他化自在天宫,说十地法;第七重会普光明殿,说十定等法,名修因契果生解分。盖进修六位之圆因,契证十身之妙果,令生胜解,故名解分。(十信者,信心、念心、精进心、慧心、定心、不退心、护法心、回向心、戒心、愿心也。十住者,发心住、治地住、修行住、生贵住、方便具足住、正心住、不退住、童真住、法王子住、灌顶住也。十行者,欢喜行、饶益行、无嗔恨行、无尽行、离痴乱行、善现行、无著行、尊重行、善法行、真实行也。十回向者,救一切众生离众生相回向、不坏回向、等一切佛回向、至一切处回向、无尽功德藏回向、随顺平等善根回向、随顺等观一切众生回向、真如相回向、无缚解脱回向、法界无量回向也。十地者,欢喜地、离垢地、发光地、焰慧地、难胜地、现前地、远行地、不动地、善慧地、法云地也。十定者,普光大三昧、妙光大三昧、次第遍往诸佛国土大三昧、清净深入行大三昧、知过去庄严藏大三昧、智光明藏大三昧、了知一切世界佛庄严大三昧、众生差别身大三昧、法界自在大三昧、无碍轮大三昧也。六位者,十住、十行、十回向、十地、等觉、妙觉也。十身者,菩提身、愿身、化身、力持身、相好庄严身、威势身、意生身、福德身、法身、智身也。)
  [三、行分],谓第八会普光明殿普贤说离世间一品,具二千行法,名托法进修成行分。盖于差别因果之法既生解已,今乃寄托前法,摄解成行;随举一行,六位顿修,故名行分。(二千行法者,即普慧菩萨二百问,普贤菩萨二千答是也。)
  [四、证分],谓第九会逝多林说入法界品,名依人证入成德分。盖由前大行既具,随事显理,而善财童子历事善知识,随所见闻,无不证入,故名证分。(梵语逝多,华言胜林。)
