丕林岛
红海海口曼德海峡中的小岛。在阿拉伯半岛赛义德酋长角外。为一光秃火山岛，长约5公里，宽约3公里，面积13平方公里。1738年被法国侵占。1799年英国暂时占领，1857年再度占领，以其西南部港口为加煤站，后又在北岸建立机场。1936年加煤站停止使用。1937年该岛并入亚丁殖民地。1967年南也门独立后属该国，现为也门共和国领土一部分。居民仅数百人，大都从事渔业。
