| 鲟形目 Acipenseiformes；sturgeons 硬骨鱼纲较原始的一目。现生仅鲟科和匙吻鲟科2科，有6属25种，其中纯淡水种类15种。体梭形，具5纵行骨板状硬鳞或仅在尾鳍上叶背有1行棘状硬鳞 ；吻长；歪尾；口位于头腹面；眼小；外鼻孔2对；牙细小或消失；大部分骨骼为软骨；肠内具退化的螺旋瓣；一般背部深灰或灰黄，侧部黄白或乳白，幼体色较深。 分布于北太平洋、北大西洋、北极海水系及密西西比河、大湖区、黑海、里海、咸海地区。在中国分布于渤海、黄海、东海、黑龙江水系、黄河、长江、钱塘江、闽江到珠江和新疆额尔齐斯河流域，伊犁河是人工移殖引入的。化石种类始自侏罗纪，辽宁北票有北票鲟化石。 为溯河产卵洄游性或淡水定居性鱼类，健游。产卵场多在江河上游水温较低、流速较大、具石砾底质的急滩深潭地带。大型种类和壮年期怀卵量高达770万左右，卵粒大。成鱼以底栖动物、动植物渣滓和小型鱼类为食。生殖期多停食或摄取极少量食物。 鲟科有4属23种。中国有鳇属1种。鲟属6种。匙吻鲟科仅有2属2种，中国产白鲟。 |
