语义启动/抑制效应(semantie primingeffeet vs.semantie inhibition effeet)当两个单词相继呈现时，对第一个单词的识别会影响对第二个单词的反应速度和精确性。具体地说，当前后两个单词呈现的间隔时间在一定范围内时，如果这两个单词有一定的语义联系或第二个词是第一个词的期待刺激，那么，对第一个词的识别会促进人们识别第二个词，这就是语义启动效应;如果第二个词不是第一个词的期待刺激，那么，对第一个词的识别则会抑制人们对第二个词的识别，即语义抑制效应。20世纪70年代以来，心理学家应用命名、词汇判断等不同方法所进行的实验均发现了这种效应。人们设想，这一效应的产生可能和心理词典的组织方式有关。 (谭立海撰彭璐龄审)
