存瑞中学
存瑞中学是河北省首批12所重点中学之一、河北省首批示范高中、教育部现代化教育示范基地、中国人民解放军空军工程大学生源基地、全国中学生心理品质训练基地、中国期刊协会“全国百家期刊赠建单位”、河北省文明单位、花园式学校。
存瑞中学的前身是热河省立隆化中学,1945年10月建立。为铭记“舍身炸碉堡”的全国著名战斗英雄董存瑞的牺牲精神,1948年7月10日,冀热察行署决定,并经中央军委批准,隆化中学更名为存瑞中学。几十来,学校得到程子华、陆定一、扬成武等老一辈革命家无限厚爱,备受国家、社会关注,发展业绩斐然。已率先通过国家示范高中省级验收。多年的文化积淀和管理促动,学校形成了一套行之有效的教育、教学模式,严格要求和情感感染并重,双基教学与能力培养相辅相成。城镇经济区域的低廉教育成本却酝酿造就出了现代化的教育理念和丰硕的教学实绩。
学校现占地面积130余亩,建筑面积6万平方米。在校生3000余人,教职工263人,其中高级教师81人,一级教师80人,省级骨干教师6人,市级骨干教师14人,校长孟颜军为河北省骨干校长,全国百名优秀明星校长。
2005年9月30日存瑞中学喜庆60华诞,省委书记白克明、省长季允石,市委书记赵文鹤、市长景春华等领导为存瑞中学60年校庆题词。教育部基础教育司、省教育厅、清华大学、法国里昂中学、江西白鹭洲中学等单位为存瑞中学校庆发来贺电、贺信。
