性质:铸态使用的马氏体球铁。化学成分为(%):C3.3~3.8,Si3.3~4.5,Mn5.0~7.0,P<0.15,S<0.02,Mg0.03~0.06,RE0.03~0.05。中锰球铁以冲天炉熔化,经球化和孕育处理即能得到中锰球铁。其组织为:球状石墨+共晶碳化物+马氏体+残留奥氏体,硬度约为HRC48~56。这种铸铁生产工艺简单,成本低廉,主要用作球磨机磨球。中锰球铁不宜用于冲击大的场合,否则会发生剥落和碎裂。
