A Wo-Zhou-Chan schools of poetry-writing was a chan schools of poetry-writing and rised in ups and downs of the Tang Dynasty, Wu Yue region, which celebrated Buddists and famous poets adore the taste of writing poets and said of Buddhist of Zhidun and Xuxun, and chan poets had began to multiply in the Tang Dynasty.
沃洲禅诗派是兴起于盛、中唐之际,吴越一带名士僧与诗人仰慕晋代支遁、许询作诗参禅之风所形成的一个禅诗流派。

释寂然。姓白氏。不知何许人也。名节素奇踵四圣种。故号头陀焉。大和二年振锡观方。访天台胜境。到剡沃洲山者。在天姥岑之阴对天台华顶赤城。北望四明。金庭石鼓山介焉西北。北有支遁岭。养马坡放鹤岑次焉。晋宋已来兹山洞开。初有罗汉白道猷言。西域来戾止是山。次竺法潜支道林居焉。高人胜士接踵而栖此中。至于戴逵王羲之郗超孙绰许询游憩其间矣。见是中景异。闻名士多居。如归故乡恋而不能舍去。既行道化盛集禅徒。浙东廉使元相国稹闻之。始为卜筑。次陆中丞临越知之。助其完葺。三年郁成大院。五年而佛事兴。然每为往来禅侣谈说心要。后终于山院。大和七年时白乐天在河南保厘为记。刘宾客禹锡书之。
