单边冲突规范(unilateral conflict rules)是指直接规定某些涉外民事关系只适用内国法或只适用外国法的冲突规范。例如：1896年《德国民法施行法》第24条规定“德国人的继承，虽于外国有住所，仍依德国法”，就是一条规定了只适用内国法的冲突规范。另如：我国最高人民法院《关于贯彻执行<中华人民共和国民法通则>若干问题的意见（试行》第179条规定的“定居国外的我国公民的民事行为能力，如其行为是在我国境内所为，适用我国法律”，便是一条仅指定适用外国法的单边冲突规范。
