    中国现代文学流派。发端于20世纪初叶的上海。
    
 因写才子佳人成双成对有如鸳鸯蝴蝶而得名。作家众多,无严密组织。作品内容驳杂,有言情
    
、哀情、社会、黑幕、娼门、家庭、武侠、神怪、军事、侦探、滑稽、历史、宫闱、民间、公案等类别。人们又多以其所办最有影响的刊物《礼拜六》名之,统称之为礼拜六派。全盛时期在辛亥革命至五四运动之间,代表作为徐枕亚的《玉梨魂》。延续时间甚长,直至1949年,故又称民国旧派文学。文学界一般认为,这是一个病态的消极的文学流派。但其中有些作家如包天笑、周瘦鹃、张恨水等,也曾写过有积极意义的作品。
