In translation of ambiguity,translators should adopt different strategies in light of the categories of ambiguity to get the closest equivalence of the target text to the source text in terms of pragmatic markedness value.

But with the influence of context,the phenomenon of lexis vacancy always exists in the process of translation between English and Chinese,thus the pragmatic markedness value will be produced finally.
