成就性别差异(sex differenees in aehieve-ment)两性在活动的效果和价值方面的不同。(1)在学业成就上，女生的平均学习成绩不低于男生，甚至略优于男生。就各科成绩来看，女生占优的多为需要语言能力、知觉速度等的课程，男生占优的多为需要空间能力、数学能力等的课程。(2)在职业成就上，两性差异甚大。统计表明，男性在社会中获得成功的远多于女性，甚至在传统认定为女性从事的职业中，最成功的也是男性。追踪研究发现，许多智商极高、学业成就优异的女性进入社会后，其职业成就却平平。学业成就与能力有较直接的联系，职业成就则与诸多社会因素有关。 (茜香嘉撰高玉样审)
