By making a comparison between the feminine personification in the ci poems eulogizing flowers by the famous ci poet Wu Wenying of the late Southern Song Dynasty and the traditional presentation of the feminine personification in the two Song Dynasties,this paper demonstrates the trend of development and innovation in the feminine personification.
