For the purpose of making litigation more popular in dispute-settlements,the convention establishes the jurisdiction pattern of "exclusive choice of court agreement",absorbs the new standard of "international case",and reaches compromise in recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments on punitive damages.

There are only indirect rules on effect of exclusive choice of court agreements in Convention.

Although in 2007 the revision of China\'s Civil Procedure Law didn\'t cover any content of the Convention\'s related systems,and in the past four years the Chinese government has not taken any substantive measures about ratifying the Convention,but the system designing on choice of court agreements of the Convention can give very good reference to the intemational civil procedure system of China.

Countries around the world have worked hard to solve the problem,and the birth of the Hague Convention on the Choice of Court Agreements of 2005 is one of the important results on the international civil jurisdiction and foreign judgment

The Rotterdam Rule of United Nations stipulates that the choice of court agreements(jurisdiction provision) is effective between the parties under volume contract,and also binds the third party under the special condition.
