【纽约黄金市场]纽约黄金市场包括期货和现货市场两部分，并以期货交易中心而著称于世。纽约商品交易所(C〔〕MEx)在黄金期货和期权方面占绝对统治地位。交易在纽约国际贸易中心大楼内进行，从上午9:oo持续到下午2:30。期货和期权合约都以美元/盎司报价，合约单位为100盎司，黄金成色卯5输。最小变动价位为0.1美元/盎司。合约月份为当月和双月份，最长月份达22个月。交割是凭cOMEx认可的金库所签仓单(收据)进行交付。最后交易日是交割月的最后一个营业日。1991年COMEx黄金期货和期权交易量达25414.9吨，几乎占世界交易总量的80%。 纽约现货黄金市场是在1975年放开对国民持金的管制后发展起来的，没有规范的组织和公开竞价的场所。许多市场参与者以店头交易的非正规形式私下交易。交易数量不限，但大多数交易以100盎司为交易单位，《力盎司和100盎司的望列)金(美国式)最为普遍。没有严格的交易时间，交割和清算都以协议日期为准。
