The Study of Memory Strategy and Its Application in the High School Chemistry Teaching;

Using scientific memory methods and take effective memory strategy can make us get twice the result with half the effort.

To share the highlight in this field,this empirical study was mainly designed to explore Chinese university students memory strategy use in their English learning.

This study explores the use of memory strategies and their correlation with the marks of English listening comprehension of university students through questionnaire analysis.

Useful strategies discussed in this paper include facilitating comprehension by plac-ing new words in the context,creating mental linkages,expanding vocabulary by word formation,using the dictionary and memory strategies.

Based on the basic theories of learning strategies, we make a suggestion that English teachers should lay special emphasis on the teaching of cognition strategies; memory strategies; compensation strategies; affection strategies and social .

In teaching English in vocational college,translation is used as memorizing strategy,enthusiasm strategy,social-relation strategy and compensation strategy to stimulate students learning.

English vocabulary learning has no shortcut to follow,but the proper use of the memorizing strategy will facilitate it.
