The government of Song Dynasty set up duting posthouse,duting west posthouse,tongwen posthouse,libin posthouse,huaiyuan posthouse as Central Accommodation for Guests in the capital,which were used for accomodating those nationalities coming from border land and foreign countries.
宋代在京城设有都亭驿、都亭西驿、同文馆、礼宾院、怀远驿等中央客馆作为馆待周边各族朝贡使节的馆舍与机构。

中国五代末、宋朝初勇将。字藏用，真定常山（今河北正定西南）人。青年时随父从军，任牙职。后晋开运元年(944),辽军南袭，他随父出战，被辽军围于戚城（今河南濮阳北）。他临危不惧，挥戈驰突，单骑挟父突出重围，升罗州刺史。后周显德四年(957),周世宗攻南唐寿春（今安徽寿县）时，南唐将刘仁赡筑连环寨据守，他奉命率数十骑深入刘营侦察，夜渡淮河，拂晓突临寿春城下，擒一裨将,察明了刘营虚实,深受世宗赏识。后周末升侍卫马军都指挥使、宁江军节度使。因拥立赵匡胤称帝,升殿前副都点检。宋建隆元年(960)四月，昭义军节度使李筠联合北汉反宋。他与侍卫马步军副都指挥使石守信率前军先行讨伐，昼夜兼程，乘其不备，首战长平（今山西高平西北）告捷,旋又破李筠部3万于泽州（今山西晋城）南，俘北汉河阳节度使范守图，杀北汉宣徽使、监军卢赞,迫使李筠退守泽州。二年,任归德军节度使，后加同平章事。太平兴国七年病逝。
