中国佛教寺院。位于今山西省太原市内，建于明洪武十四年(1381)，是明代大型敕建佛寺的典型代表。现仅存后院大悲殿,但成化十八年(1482)的庙貌图仍存,可全面反映其布局原状。寺南向，基地规整，为纵长方形，据载，东西长290多米，南北长570多米。山门前有东西横街,经过街门通向城市。街南三院,正中横院设棂星门和照壁与山门相对，丰富了山门前的处理。横街则密切了寺院和城市的联系。山门内布局分左中右3路,以最宽的中路为主。正中大回廊院是全寺核心，院门为天王殿，院内主殿9间,单层重檐庑殿顶,下有2层白石台基。殿左右为朵殿，殿北以中廊与后殿相连成工字形。院北隔横路并连3座小院，中院较大,以大悲殿为主殿。在大回廊院东西各隔以通长的南北夹道,建左右路各9座小院。其中从南至北第 4院的东西轴线恰与回廊院东西廊上的配殿所形成的寺院横轴相重，在此两小院的外侧建面向寺内的殿堂，以中廊和前述回廊院的配殿连成工字殿。两条夹道北端都有门通后园。全寺布局严格对称，构图谨严，主次分明，气氛隆重。
