景教

    基督教聂斯托利派传入中国后的称谓。5世纪初,由基督教正统派中分裂出来的聂斯托利派为躲避迫害,向东转移并沿途传教。唐太宗贞观九年(635),该教经波斯传入中国 ,并获得相当发展。武宗会昌五年(845)大举灭佛,该教亦遭波及,在中原一带一度绝迹。13世纪元朝建立,该教再度进入中原,并向各地扩展。与当时传来的天主教同被称为也里可温教。
