茶庄中心接待站东括太子阁，西囊仙庄，南至涂家新屋，北界棺材盆、掌锣寨，8．4平方公里。地势开阔，环境容量大，位置适中，是上下山的枢纽，游人的集散地。这里有停车场、旅店、餐馆、商店、银行、粮油店，交通便捷，食宿方便。
这里是远眺马祖庵、主峰区、大天门一带的最佳位置。琼阳川、下炼丹台、雪崖瀑、天柱寺和太子阁遗址可供游览。古人称这里为桃源，又叫莳茶源。这一带景色秀丽，五色梅虽不存，但珍贵的活化石——银杏树，还在茁壮长存、繁衍子孙，还生长着稀有的华南毛菊。
