芙蓉古村
芙蓉古村地处岩头镇南面仙清公路西侧，是一座背靠“芙蓉三冠”，布局于平地上的大型村寨，始建于唐代末年，为陈姓聚居之地。芙蓉村中本无芙蓉，因其西南山上有三座高崖，其色白里透红，状如三朵含苞待放之芙蓉，因而得名。
芙蓉村是楠溪江各村落中历史最悠久的，按照“七星八斗”的思想进行规划设计，意为天上星与地上人相对应，星筑台、斗凿池以为象征。在这里，你不但可以了解到中国古代耕读文化、宗族文化演变情况，而且可以感受到村寨建筑艺术的动人魅力。 全村略呈正方形，坐西朝东，围以卵石砌成的寨墙，使整个村庄犹如一座小城堡。东面寨墙正中开一寨门，两边稍远处开二小门，寨门内建有樵楼，可观望四方，雄伟壮丽。其余三面开五小门。从寨门进内，是卵石筑成的主街，名“如意街”，寓吉祥如意之义。主街中部南侧，凿一内湖，湖水清冽。湖旁花木繁丽，芳香袭人，湖中建有亭树，石桥缀之。村内沿寨墙、道路引溪水。民宅布置水车众多，以沟通各“斗”形成的流动水系。宅边、道旁清流涓涓，环境优雅。村中民宅大多系木质结构，以参差错落的屋顶，朴实素雅的形态，优美亲切的比例尺度，白墙青瓦的明快色调，兼以家家石砌矮墙，户户绿树成荫，使整个村落构成一种和谐美。
