工间休息

工间休息(broaks)在标准工时内正式规定工人有一定的休息时间，它是减让时间的一项重要内容(见“减让时间”条)。工间休息最初是由霍桑提出来的，之后广为流行。工间休息作为一种劳动制度，主要有两种考虑:一是消除疲劳和厌倦。工作一段时间后让肌肉松弛一下，可继续保持一定的操作水平，对脑力劳动者也有缓解大脑疲劳和紧张的作用。另一个考虑是改善上下级关系，使工人感到管理者的关怀，从而调动工人的工作积极性。 (张燕逸撰张交审)
