航空运输发生的成本。航空运输主要是民用航空运输。它包括运输飞行和专业飞行。运输飞行分为旅客运输和货邮运输。专业飞行主要指一些特定飞行项目，如：防火、造林、探矿、测量、播种、除草、人工降雨、海上抢险等。民航企业按月计算成本，其成本项目分为飞行费用与收音机维修费用两大类。飞行费用大部分是直接计入费用，费用发生时，可以直接计入有关的机型成本，主要内容有空勤人员工资及福利费，航空燃料消耗费，飞机、发动机折旧费，飞机、发动机大修理费，飞机租赁费，飞机保险费，飞机起降服务费以及旅客供应服务费等。飞机维修费一般由材料费、人工费以及间接维修费三个项目组成，凡属可以直接汇集某一机型成本的维修费为直接计入费用，不能直接汇集于某机型成本的费用先要通过飞机维修费账户进行归集，然后按一定标准分配到各个机型成本中去。民航运输企业各种机型的飞行费用和飞机维修费之和组成各机型总成本。将各机型总成本相加就得到民航运输总成本。将民航运输总成本除以运输周转量就得到运输单位成本。每月月末，民航运输企业应编制民航运输成本计算表。
