人的因素评价(evaluation in humanfactors)在系统开发中，对系统开发的产品(包括硬件、程序和人员)进行验证，确保人的作业所必需的特性，符合工效学设计原则。实际上，系统设计中的每一个阶段都包含这样的评价。此外，还须在系统开发完成后，在进入运行之前对将要使用的项目进行系统评价。这种评价与实验非常相似，可分为控制实验法和人员子系统测量(P SM)。控制实验主要为了对某些关系和现象作出解释，如说明为什么反应时是刺激个数的函数。PsM主要涉及对与系统、子系统或与该项目有关的操作条件，特别是负责该系统运行和维护人员的功能及作业进行测量。 (王坚撰朱祖祥审)
