clv(constant linear velocity),刻录机术语，即“恒定线速度”，指光驱在读取数据时以恒定的线速度运转。clv通过变换主轴电机的速度，可以光头从盘的内圈移动到外圈的过程中，单位时间内读过的轨道弧线长度相当，这样势必造成读取内外圈的速度不一样。当光驱的速度比较高以后，频繁变换主轴电机将降低光驱的寿命，因此clv技术只适合低速光驱。
