【房地产经纪人佣金】通常按照最终销售价格的一个百分率来支付，在出租情况下则按租金的一个百分率支付。在极大多数情况下，经纪人的佣金由房地产卖主支付;有时买主急于寻购某种奇缺的房地产，可以与经纪人订立由买主支付佣金的协议。委托人可以比较自由地与经纪人商谈佣金数额。住宅交易中的佣金率一般为5一7%。至于可取得收益的房地产，可在售价金额中规定一个上限，例如对第一个20万美元使用同住宅交易相近的佣金率，对超过20万美元以上的金额使用递减的佣金率。未开发土地由于价格较低，所以佣金率要高一些。佣金率的高低还应同经纪人提供的服务优劣相挂钩。通常情况下委托人会坚持在产权转让后支付佣金，因而，虽然经纪人在许多未成交的交易中耗费了大量的时间和精力，但仍然得不到佣金。
