动机精神分析理论(psyehojoana一夕ti。th“ory of mot，vation)精神分析学派所提出的动机制论。弗洛伊德的动机制论是一种生物本能的动机制论，他认为，人的一切行为的发动者是天生的本能。人的基本本能有两种:(])生的本能，即推动求生和性的活动。(2)死的本能，即对内表现为自我毁灭的倾向和对外表现为攻击和破坏的倾向。因而人的最基本的行为动机是性的和攻击的动机。由于这些动机与社会文明的要求不一致，它们只能局部地有限度地得到满足，而大部分被压抑在潜意识之中。这种被压抑的动机并没有被消灭，它们常常通过梦境、生活中的失误以及精神疾病的症状以歪曲的形式表现出来。分析这些表现就可以揭示出被压抑的动机。弗洛伊德的动机制论被他的学生和后继者加以发展和改变。阿德勒(A dler，A.)认为人的整个精神生活都有一个总的目标，就是追求优越和权力。这是由人生来的内驱力汇成的人的精神生活的中心和决定者，人的一切活动都是受这个最后的动机所决定的。当这种追求受到挫折时就会发生自卑感和补偿自己缺陷的强烈愿望。而当自己的缺陷、挫折由于自己的努力而得到补偿时，人格就得到了发展。新精神分析学者霍妮(H。rney，K.)则认为，因人出生时的软弱无力，以后又处于一个充满敌意的世界中，故人生来的主要动机就是寻求安全和避开威胁和恐怖。由十渴求安全和对不安全的恐怖，人就会产生焦虑。当人们能以自己的活动摆脱这种焦虑时，人格就得到了发展。否则儿童就会形成各种不能适应环境的“神经症倾向”，并会进一步导致神经症。在精神分析学派关于动机的理论中，表现出了一种越来越重视社会文化在动机形成中的作用的倾向， (王启康撰彭聆龄审)
