| 计算机绘图 computer graphic 用编制好的绘图程序将信息输入给电子计算机，经过处理后发出指令，使绘图仪自动画出所需的图形，并在图形显示仪上产生图像的过程。计算机绘图是20世纪下半叶出现的。计算机绘图系统主要由光笔、图形显示仪（或坐标读取仪）、计算机、插补器、绘图软件（如坐标变换、图形平移 、图形旋转、比例选择、书写字符、直线段、圆弧、几何图形、透视图等）和绘图机等组成。在图形显示仪上产生的图像，可以使用光笔进行修改，还可以进行人机对话。使用坐标读取仪时，可将图形信息直接输入计算机。经计算机处理后的图形信息通过接口直接送给绘图机的系统，称为联机系统；将图形信息记录在磁盘（或磁带、纸带等）上的系统，称为脱机系统。插补器的作用是：当计算机绘图系统工作时，利用插补原理处理由计算机提供的图形信息，并传递给绘图机 ，使画笔以一定的步距逐步逼近理想曲线，插补原理有逐点比较法、微分分析法和正负法等。
