| 阮冈纳赞（1892～1972） Ranganathan，Shiyali Ramamrita 印度图书馆学家。1892 年生于印度马德拉斯邦(今泰米尔纳德邦 )。早年攻读并教授数学。1924 年任马德拉斯大学图书馆馆长后，去英国考察近百个图书馆，并进入伦敦大学图书馆学院学习。1925年回国继续担任马德拉斯大学图书馆馆长至1944年。1945 ～ 1947 年任巴纳拉斯印度大学图书馆长兼图书馆学教授 。1947 ～ 1954 年任德里大学图书馆学教授。阮冈纳赞曾任印度图书馆协会主席，印度标准学会文献工作委员会主席、国际文献联合会副主席及分类委员会主席等职。他编制了《冒号分类法》，研制成功了链式索引，提出了著名的“图书馆学五定律”。著有《图书馆学五定律》、《图书分类法导论》等。
