2 1 rQn』ingWU ZQ0x旧g自然景物造型(natural ph~a modc-ling)用计算机系统来描述、产生、储存、修改自然界景物的模型的一种技术。许多复杂的自然景物如山峦、树木、草丛、烟雾等，由于其形状的不规则性，很难用欧氏空间的连续函数来描述。因此，通过一些能近似反映其形状规律的计算过程来模拟。常用的方法有:分数维造型技术利用递归方法来模拟具有相似性的、随机性的、复杂静态景物如海岸线、山峦等;基于文法的造型技术采用正规文法生成结构性较强的形体拓扑结构(如树木)，再通过几何解释来形成形体的真实感图形(如树干、树叶);粒子系统采用大量随时间变化的粒子图元来描述诸如草丛、烟花、火焰等动态景物。这类造型技术的主要特点是能够逼真地再现自然景象。逼真指的是从视觉效果上逼真，再现指的是不要求模型与实际景物完全一致。
