形态特征:
落叶性,下部叶具两对广展的小叶,上部叶3出或单叶;卵状披针形,长5-lo厘米,叶背有毛,叶面无毛。花白色或淡黄色,大而美丽,5-6月开花,花单生枝项,花径8—15厘米;花梗有绒毛,无苞片,具6至8枚萼片,平展,长尖而不互叠。

分布与习性:
产华北、东北及朝鲜、日本。我国分布华北、东北地区,阳性,喜排水良好的土壤

繁殖与栽培:
一、播种:原种可以播种法繁殖。子叶出土类型的种子(瘦果较小,果皮较薄),如在春季播种,约3—4周可发芽。在秋季播种,要到春暖时萌发。子叶留土类型的种子(较大,种皮较厚),要经过—个低温春化阶段才能萌发,第一对真叶出生;有的种类要经过两个低温阶段,才能萌发,如转子莲。春化处理如用0—3℃低温冷藏种子40日,发芽约需9一10个月。也可用一定浓度的赤霉素处理。

应用:
攀援篱垣、棚架,垂直绿化材料
