对开蕨（稀有种）是我国新记录植物，仅产于长白山南麓和西侧局部地区，并且分布星散，如不加以保护，将有绝灭危险。属稀有种。其分布区域气候温凉、潮湿，土壤为酸性暗棕色森林土。多年生草本植物，根状茎粗短，横卧或斜生。本种的发现填补了对开蕨属在我国地理分布上的空白，具有一定的研究价值。其叶形奇特，颇为耐寒，雪中亦绿叶葱葱，是珍贵的观赏植物。（源自：中国科普）
